Check hreflang declarations and their counterparts

Hreflang relates language and regional versions of a page. Use language codes such as en or tr, with a region only when you actually target it, such as en-GB. The optional x-default describes a default or language selection destination.

Every version should list itself and the corresponding alternatives. If English links to Turkish, the Turkish version should reciprocate. Keep canonical consistent with the actual language page. Do not publish an English copy under a translated URL to claim localization.

Revbu lists the language tokens and resolved target URLs in the fetched HTML. It flags duplicate tokens and malformed code syntax. Syntax validation is not a registry check of every ISO code. The checker does not fetch counterpart pages or prove reciprocal links and actual translation.

Download the rows, open a sample of each counterpart and compare language, status, canonical and return links. Test RTL pages on narrow screens and retain the same tool when switching languages. Search engine selection of a language version remains an external decision.
