Troubleshooting Tumblr downloads

Checks for invalid links, missing media and expired results.

Use a valid post link

Make sure the address is a single post on tumblr.com. Profile, search, tag and short tmblr.co links are unsupported. Open a short link in your browser and copy the full post address shown there.

No media found

The post must be public and the file hosted by Tumblr. Text-only posts have no media to download. Private content, login restrictions, external players and files not exposed by Tumblr’s public API are unsupported.

The result expired

Result links last 30 minutes. Return to the home page and submit the original Tumblr post again. Downloaded files stay on your device; result expiry does not delete them.

A download will not start or a limit appears

Check your browser download list. Each file can be up to 100 MB. Many requests trigger a temporary request limit; try again after a few minutes. If the issue continues, send the post link and error through the contact form. Do not send private information or passwords.
